The biggest week in Strikeforce history is officially underway. With Fedor Emelianenko set to kick off their outrageously anticipated Heavyweight Grand Prix this Saturday, the organization has released a training video featuring its biggest superstar to help intensify the hoopla.

Emelianenko will meet Antonio Silva in the opening round of the eight-man tournament inside the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey. As customary with the Russian, he remained in his homeland to prepare for his date with “Bigfoot.”

Although his training regimen doesn’t appear to be as rigorous as when Rocky Balboa conquered Russia’s snowcapped mountains, it’s understandable considering Emelianenko is only facing Silva, not Ivan Drago.

Showtime will air “Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Silva” this Saturday at 10PM ET/PT.
